What customers say?

“ Honestly some of the best grilled and fried fish we had in Tokyo. The staff are super friendly, and the chef had brilliant English which was a nice surprise. For the quality of the food, the variety and the completely brilliant experience, the price was incredibly reasonable. We ate here twice whilst on our Honeymoon, and made this our last meal before heading home. ”

“ Chanced across this place after getting rejected from multiple izakayas. I assure you that this was one of the best meals we've had in Tokyo. Every single skewer were incredibly unique and tasty. Potato salad was not great tho. Hit this place up if you're into salty foods + unique skewer tastes (e.g. pesto swordfish, smoked radish with cheese etc.) ”

“ We went here for a quick dinner. There are menus in English and the guy behind the counter spoke English too. He was very helpful when it came to any questions we had. We tried a wide variety of grilled and fried fish, it was all delicious. My favorite was the makeral and the salmon - the noodles with squid was also delicious. ”

“ We stumbled upon this place near our hotel and we fell in love with their food. The atmosphere is fun and playful, while the staff are super attentive and welcoming. One of the staff also spoke very good English and was helpful in recommending items in their menu. The food was freshly grilled in front of us and was absolutely delicious. It was one of our top meals we’ve had in Japan and we will definitely be re visiting again before we leave! ”

“ An izakaya that specializes in grilled fish, yakitori style. All kinds of fish to choose from, and a number of other seafood options. The tuna was delicious, the unagi was great, and the salmon is worth trying. The vegetables were also quite good. Friendly service and a nice ambiance. Prices were reasonable too. ”

“ Went on a weekday night around 10pm. There were only counter seats left which we were glad to take. English menu is available. Staffs are very friendly, especially the boss himself whom we had a quick chat with (in English). He was checking with us if we needed help and explained to us the dishes we ordered. Turns out he also knows Bahasa Melayu which was a pleasant surprise! Food wise, we ordered most of their fish skewers which were very good but the dish that blew us away was the boiled mackerel which was so flavourful and tender! Overall, good food, good atmosphere and good people. Will definitely want to visit again. ”

“ I stumbled on this izakaya while wandering around for a place to have dinner near my hotel. I was very curious as it is a fish and seafood based izakaya restaurant. The fish may seem daunting but it actually very delicious and prepared well. You can eat the wish whole because the bones are either soft or de-boned. Staff are very attentive and helpful, if you need recommendations. ”
